ARCTIC is built on collaboration among three Interior Alaska school districts, each bringing unique strengths, communities, and career connections to the consortium.
Alaska Gateway School District
Alaska Gateway School District serves a vast region of eastern Interior Alaska, providing educational opportunities that connect students to career pathways in construction, energy, and subsistence-based industries. CTE courses are integrated into daily course offerings, and students have earned American Welding Society (AWS) certification and OSHA certification. AGSD is a founding member of ARCTIC and actively supports student participation in consortium CTE programs.
Delta-Greely School District
Delta-Greely School District serves the Delta Junction area at the crossroads of the Alaska and Richardson Highways. DGSD students benefit from proximity to agricultural, military, and energy industry partners. DGSD is a founding member of ARCTIC and supports consortium pathways in construction trades, heavy equipment, and energy systems.
Copper River School District
Located in the heart of rural Alaska, CRSD is a close-knit community of three in-person schools — Glennallen, Kenny Lake, and Slana — plus the K-12 Upstream Learning homeschool program. With small class sizes, one-to-one technology, and personalized learning paths rooted in the land and Ahtna traditions of the Copper River Valley, CRSD prepares students to be proud of where they come from. CRSD is a founding member of ARCTIC, bringing strong connections to pipeline trades, transportation infrastructure, and rural workforce development.
